Hi, I'm Amie, lovely to have you here.

I'm a mother of two, and live on the sunny Isle of Wight with my husband and Boxer dog.

 

 I fell in love with hypnobirthing when pregnant with my first child over eight years ago. It’s ignited a real fire and passion in me.

From someone who openly admits she was petrified at the thought of birth, the complete transformation I experienced from signing up to a hypnobirthing course was night and day.

The confidence, the information, knowing I had choices and options, and believing in myself. The “I could actually do this,” to the “I’m going to do this" really changed my whole mindset.

Women are power, birth is intense, hard work, damn right overpowering at times. But to know you don’t need to fear birth, having the belief and confidence within yourself, and trusting your body and the process. That’s a real game changer.

I was empowered, in awe of women and our bodies, and continued to be whilst having my second child and having collectively fed my babies for over five years.

 

I qualified with The Little Birth Company in July 2022 and I am proud to teach such a comprehensive, inclusive programme.

I want to help, educate and empower other women and birthing families, I want to change the narrative around birth, one at a time. That birth can be positive. And hypnobirthing teaches all of that and more.

So the name Empowering Birth perfectly represented hypnobirthing and it’s effect on me, and I want that for you, you deserve to be excited for the day you meet your baby! The memories of that day will last a lifetime.
